This year my lovely wife (Heike, DL3HD) and I (Chris, DL2MDU) had a wonderful vacation in the Wild West of the USA.
On our way from San Diego to San Francisco we had the plan to visit ELECRAFT at Watsonville. Long before that idea
arose I met Eric, WA6HHQ on the Hamradio (Hamfest at Friedrichshafen, Lake Constance Germany) I have asked if it
would be possible to visit ELECRAFT at Watsonville and he said “Sure, call us a few days before and we can manage that”.
That made me very happy.
We had two nights at Best Western Rose Garden Inn in Watsonville. A good place to relaxe and have a bath in the
Ocean. The beach was really nice. The Ocean wasn’t
On the other day we had an appointment with David, KG6IRW at ELECRAFT to see the place of birth of many products.
David took us on a tour and explained the different stages of adjusting and burning in procedures of modules for the K3S,
KX3, KX2, KPA500 etc.
That was so interesting and we were pleased to made this way to ELECRAFT. Thank You very much!
